I wanted to make a deck using the new Han, and also wanted to chuck in a pod that hasn't seen much love, Decoy at Dantooine. Han is fairly essential to the strategy to get out the returning to hand effects on him through fall back, A new Hope etc, to get Leia and more bounce cards back into your Han(d) then use the same cards on Leia to finish with some repeatable assaults.

Added in the Hoth 3 objective mainly for resources, and the medical droid can do even more refresh, only pod I'm not really sold on, but without it getting renegade squadron out can be a bit of a pain.

Toyed with the idea of adding the Falcon, it would solve the resource issue, give you even more shennanigans to play with etc, but didn't really want to take out anything.

Personally I think the Echo Caverns is the best thing in the Renegade Squadron pod. I don't think you need to use it to free Leia. The timing is kind of off and if the dark player knows what they are doing they will hide Leia at an already engaged objective for the turn. I think with the Falcon the Renegade Squadron thing could work but then it is a lot of cards to get the combo going to free Leia and bounce the falcon to play her so you can use her again.

Honestly I think what Leia needs is more objective damage and some tactics on the battlefield. That way she can refresh your forces for a second attack. You only need 3 objectives, doing this once should win you the game. If you have enough objective damage then ultimately if you don't see Leia and you should with 2x Han and 2x Leia then you might still win anyway. The new B-Wing pod, Home 1 and defense of Yavin 4 are all pretty useful. Decoy at Datooine is pretty neat in the effects it has but weak as a power pod.

Still I like the concept. Leia is always fun IMO. When we get a rebel Luke things could get really messy, but I'm not sure we will given that pilot Luke was Jedi and he seemed like the best rebel option for a Luke.
This might have a place in 2v2 i ran a deck like it for awhile. Its fun but just ends up frustrating vrs sith. Decoy, and leah both have there place vrs the new challange deck though and it could be a really powerful support deck.
Yeh, the deck was more to experiment with the Decoy at Dantooine set and the new Han set, it does work really well against Imperial swarm decks, and does thin out sith defence considerably, but yeh, not a great set overall.
I've been running a deck like this since Rebel Han came out but only ever run 1 Decoy. I also run 2 Rebel Fleets to get the power of Home One striking multiple times in a turn. It's fun to play amd is slow to set up but it can hold the force decently so I usually have time.

    2 Defense of Yavin 4
    2 Rebel Fleet
    2 Fleeing the Empire
    1 Decoy at Datoonie
    1 Evacuation Procedure
    2 Renegade Squadron Mobilization

I really want to get another Evacuation Procedure in there but I'm not sure what to cut.
