Woot! No longer tournament viable.
Any suggestions what to replace False Report with?
Maybe Trust Me for more tricks and T.O.O?
The Rebel Fleet for blast damage and T.O.O.?
Wookie Life Debt?
It wasn't tournament legal anyway. False Report is S&S only.
That said I like the idea of Forward Recon together with False Report. I find Forward Recon is a massive target, both because it has 4 health and because people overestimate it's ability. I don't think it is as good as Defence Protocol for example, but at least you deal some damage when your guys get killed. Anyway if they do target Forward Recon then you have the False Report threat, or maybe they just don't attack it because of False Report, which is even better.
I like Undercover Dealings with Forward Recon even if it is just a one of. The hold out blaster is actually useful on a Freeholder too and Tactical Retreat provides a nice trick.
That makes things tough though as the Falcon is pretty much a must have in a Forward Recon deck. It's good regardless of whether you have the objective out and can dish out extra damage if it is out. Falcon works nicely with Jan Ors too as she can bounce a character back to your hand prior to using the Falcon ability. The Shadow Op can bounce itself.
Other sets I've found to have some use with Forward Recon are Ackbar, Leia, Decoy at Dantooine. They all kind of work toegther. Fall Back on Ackbar to double play him into an engagement is just really fun if you can afford it. Alderaan's Promise could be good for trying to hold the force but so hard to fit in.
I tried running Forward Recon with Against All Odds and I just didn't like it. I haven't tried it with Madine but I'm just not sure.
I'd be tempted to try something like;
Forward Recon x2
Asteroid Sanctuary x2
Commando Op x1
Draw their Fire x1
Fleeing the Empire x1
Decoy at Dantooine x1
False Report x1
Undercover Dealings x1
