This could really lock down the command struggle for the Tau player. Pretty awesome.
The only drawback here is that it is limited! Although I hate that the picture clearly shows a burst cannon and yet the drone has 0 atk. Also, it is annoying that this is loyal but has the "Ally" trait, LOL!
Best command struggle unit in the game. Would be a guaranteed 3-of if it weren't Limited, and I'm pretty sure you still want 2 or 3 of these in almost any Tau deck.
I think all of the drones have the "Ally" trait. There is a reason for that in from the tabletop game but I forget what it is.
This unit is super boss at the command struggle, in my last game my opponent sent his damaged warlord to the planet to counter my the drone's icons. During the battle phase I dropped shields so it would die first round then ambush platformed an Ion Rifle onto it. It got in an unshielded shot on the warlord bloodying her. It worked as a great surprise tactic, I don't think he will be flippantly countering my Recon Drone's again any time soon.
I've also "even the odds" to move Suffering to it. Oh noooo! My drone is having a bad day!
Likely to be the best 0 drop in the game. 5/5.
It's like a promotion. Without the necessity to have a unit to stay attached to.
