Gorzod makes this 1 cost right? Worrying.

You misspelled "awesome".

Strangely, I kimda wish this guy was worse, like only 1 ATK. He's totally playable out of Worr, which means that for Gorzod he's bonkers. Worr is doing well enough that I wouldn't have minded him getting s mediocre card that's actually meant to be a palette-swapped Gorzod card.

I would be surprised if this sees play in Worr decks, since he already wants to pile units on green planets anyway (and he will obviously win nearly uncontested -so why move this unit there anyway??). This would more likely see use in Gorzod (obviously) or perhaps Starblaze, where he can benefit from a little extra unit maneuverability.

Easy, it can win command struggle before entering the battle, and it works perfectly with Barracks, if ever you need an AM Unit.

With Forward Barracks in play, this almost reads: After a combat round ends at a green planet with 1 or less enemy unit, move this unit there to win that battle. But what to take out...

Is this unit better than Elysian Assault Team in your opinion? I run 2 EAT in my Worr deck but this unit has one hammer and helps trigger Forward Barracks without needing a Soldier leaving play.

Why do you want to compare them? Taurox costs 2, can win command and telegraphed. EAT is free, not telegraphed, but conditional and for battle only.

I gave this one a 4/5, seeing it as a strong card but choosing to focus on its general utility rather than considering it just as a Gorzod card.

I also was worried that a 2-cost is another card weak to Sowing Chaos (which already hurts weenies pretty hard) and a non-vehicle isn't a target for Elysians.

However, now I suspect that, even standing by those criteria, I underrated it: the stats for a unit you want to move around to swing fights are kind of low, but having it as a 3 attack in Worr immediately makes it a lot more threatening and there are a couple of very strong possibilities.

You can use it to repel a snipe, counting on shields and/or having reinforced with additional units in other ways (Staging Ground, Elysian).

You can deploy it down the line and use it to reinforce a Green FP if the need arises.

You can deploy it on the first planet while committing Worr to a Green planet: if you manage to reach the end of the first round of combat (typical in a Warlord snipe) this will be able to move over, thus being ready for the next round.

To put it simply, this unit will often perform double duty and ensure that fighting on Green planets will be a very risky proposition for your opponent (as if Troop Transport weren't enough), which is a powerful feature indeed.

(Sentimental Marine) If Gorzod steals/sells a couple of more democratical units like this, he may become a more competitive vandor in the secondary car market. Right now, he works almost exclusively for oligarchs and Conquest is still a Republic!
