Damn, if only there was a warlord that is really good at winning Green-icon planets. Ah well, binder it is. :)

Maybe Grigory can use him.. :P

With 2 hammers this guy can just wait at a later planet, winning you command, being difficult to command snipe, and then helping you win the final battle. Worr was unlikely to commit to Elouith at planet 12 anyway, so there will be plenty of chance to trigger it.

Losing the battle ability hurts a little, though playing a card this good is usually going to have a bigger upside. Because its so reaction based and doesn't help you to actually win the battle, I don't think I'd want more than 1 early on, so 2x in Worr, 1x in others seems about right.

Note as it replaces the battle ability you can't put 2 into play from winning at 1 planet!

Losing the battle ability might hurt a little, though noone expects Worr to commit to Y'varn normally, and this card creates a new threat that he may do so. Larger possibility space = harder to predict play = better warlord.

I'd say this is slightly better in Grigory over Worr since it leads to Worr becoming over reliant on Greens for the same reason that Inspirational Fevor is a slight overkill in Worr, coupled with the fact that Worr (at least in my experience) generally command snipes to non greens to cover the fact that the greens are fortified. Grigory, on the other hand, will almost always command snipe and has no preferences as to where he will go, so is less restricted. However, if I was playing Worr and had a copy of this in hand during deployment I'd probably play everything else in a way that makes it advantageous to commit to a non-first green, thereby getting full use out of him regardless, and obviously as a unit he's stronger in Worr than in any other warlord. I feel like he's a "win more" card in Worr, like Inspirational Fevor, but it's still worth testing out.

Regarding Y'varn, I've been triggering it for months in Worr :P

Shame that this is inherently worse for Straken and Coteaz though

Seems this is a new cycle of specific cards that turn out to be 4 cost with 2 Command Hammers and an ability. Examples:

'ard Boyz

Imperial Fist Devastators

Master Warpsmith

Devourer Venomthrope

Apparently there are more than those.

But those came to mind somehow.

Shadowed Thorns Venom could count for DE, given Morn's discount. Which leaves Tau and Eldar, but we know Eldar won't get one, so sadly it's not a full cycle.

this is the astra unit from the klaivex cycle, and damm hes good.

Wont be surprised if hes auto included in most worr decks.

a Free 2/4/4? if you refill your hand with ammo depot this guy will never have a downside.

I see this card becoming a big problem in the upcoming tournaments
