Will be replacing the two Leman Russ I currently run in my Straken Build! The ability to ready supports will be huge for AM decks in the late game. Two command icons is icing on the metaphorical cake!

I run one of her in my Straken deck and when she comes out late game...she's real good!

Lets just hope IG, SM, and Orks never get a support that exhausts to stand a unit. (SM have Cato's Stronghold, but that doesn't directly help Allegra).

Plenty of good uses for her with the supports commonly used in decks, and she may even cause people to reconsider weaker ones that don't make decks.

Imagine...!

Had a game with a proxied Allegra on the weekend in a Straken build; found it really nice to drop her and ready my Catachan Outposts. Anything that messes up your opponents combat math is always nice :)

One in deck could be worth considering but i still prefer inquisitor caius over her.

Question: If you have a Catachan Outpost that is exhausted and you use her ability to ready it, it can't be used for her attack, correct? Since wouldn't it need to be used before she's declared as an attacker?

Correct. You can only use the Action for Catachan Outpost in an action window.

This card's reaction occurs in response to being declared as an attacker, and there's no action window between declaring an attacker and dealing damage.

What you can do, of course, is use a ready Catachan Outpost to boost Allegra's attack, attack with her and trigger her reaction, then use the Catachan Outpost again on another unit you control. Or indeed, Allegra herself next round. The latter scenario, combined with a shield or two, would put almost any warlord off going toe to toe with her.

The only support I can think of that could get two useful uses during Allegra's attack process would be Rockcrete Bunker, if Allegra is attacking Solarite Avetys while under the effect of a Dire Mutation attachment! Thats pretty much an edge case though!

Coming back to this card following a few games with her in a Maksim deck, I can only say she's amazing. Literally won my final planet for me using a Clearcut Refuge vs healing Necrons who had Lychguard, a Spider and a Warlord! Also an ace combo with the Catachan Outpost/Rockcrete Bunker as you need to worry less about saving them for when they'll make the most difference. Can only get better as more supports are released too!
