The difference between this card and Bork'an Recruits (aside from faction) is a different trait and No Wargear Attachments. While its impossible to call a card that exists in a different mileu strictly inferior, I have to say it looks inferior.

The main significance of this card, in my mind, is that it allows Eldar to run Dark Eldar allies with less worry of their units' cost curve, and that it brings up the overall command presence of Dark Eldar decks.

Its a solid workhorse card, far from an autoinclude, but worthy of strong consideration.

This card is a direct upgrade to Hellions in almost all cases, and gives DE a much-needed cheap heavy hitter.

As it's brothers a more than solid 4/5. Not being able to carry around Wargear currently is a non-issue but the Bork'an Recruits have that slight advantage that eventually might matter.

Don't know who gave this a 5/5 but I feel most Warlord Groupies (in special those of cost 2) are 4/5's.

This card is not a direct upgrade because flying is actually quite useful for keeping it alive from a 2 attack swing.

Hellions can survive a strike from Aun'shi, these guys cannot.

I think I may run hellions AND these guys for a bit to see how it works.

Very much a good call. I think when there are abundant quality 2-costers, most decks benefit from running all of them, and instead dropping the mid-range  (3-4) cost cards.

Agreed, running both is not a bad call and in special not for the aggressive plays this allows. Which works wonders in your typical Choke.

I love the cost 2 groupies, and even though it's strictly worse than the Tau version, it felt more relevant in my DE deck than in my Tau deck.

4/5

I think the main difference between this and hellions is their relation with wargear. Right now, this is plain better. But, for instance, hellions with a chaos armor (+2/+2), you get a 4/4 with flying. Still, hellions are not worth it, but if we get more attachment/buffs for units, hellions will probably be pretty great. I mean, even with a +1 attack (with some warlord like the AM one, for instance), a 3/2 with flying that cost 2 is pretty good.

(Sentimental Marine) I hated this card! I hated this card for a long time for sentimental reasons! I thought every faction having a unit which gain 2 atk for each faction was cheap design trick. So I ostrocized them from my DE decks for a long time. HOWEVER the ability is misleading! The card is decent (already) without the ability. When you get to use the ability, it becomes awesome! And don't be sentimental to think the ability triggers only when you are with your own warlord; It also triggers with enemy warlord! 4' hits is awesome for a card with two costs! I'd hatefully include it in all my DE decks!
