Can't argue with that result! Nice deck.
Did you find Ambush Platform was a strong play? I can see the combos it creates, but did you think it was a good include overall?
Also, love the way you've stacked up the low costs to facilitate more 4 costs. Its a good approach!
Ambush Platform and Deception seem like really fun cards
Congrats on your win!
Do you usually use Heavy Marker Drone as shields or as an attachment?
What are the most common targets for this attachment, according to your experience?
Hi all!
In the beggining, I thougth the same about Ambush Platform, but once I tried it, I realised it was a very strong combo: I mean, the main point is killing the enemy leader, and it is not difficult to have at least 1 Ion Rifle at hand (if not, Earth Caste Technician should help). Once you are in a planet with the enemy leader, you can take out one Ion Rifle in any troop you have there, always with Aun'shi near to get the armorbane. And, if you must face a great ammount of enemies, you can take out a Gun Drone (area 2) to sweep away almost everything. And this way you save 1 coin per attachment...
And yes, the point is to bring every card you get out, as long as almost all of them are very cheap. Farming should be yours. And that gets you the money to use Prelates in the exact moment.
Thanks!
I introduced Heavy Marker Drone because of the shields (and it's an attachment, so it increased the possibilities to Earth Caste Technicians), but also cause I thought I could use to kill something specially hard... but I've never used it that way! so... About the common targets: Some people take out expensive cards via Y'varn (the planet to play a unit free), or Land Raiders, or Gleeful Plague Beast, or Goff Nobles... Those should be the targets.
And those, combined with Orbital Cities and Kauyon Strikes, are great. And very versatiles!!!
I am not a fan of Promotion. Would it be possible to change both for another 2 Heavy Marker Drones or is command essential in this deck? (I am not sure because this seems more like a hunter type deck and those sometimes just can go around command a bit)
Promotion is an ATTACHMENT, and it increases the possibilities to find attachments with Earth Caste Technician, and farming is essential in almost every deck. You are rignt, this is a hunter deck, but farming you can win in any way, and if you do farm, your enemy does not... And taking more cards and money makes everything easier. So, in my modest opinion, it is important. Though I haven't tried this deck without Promotions... Maybe it becomes better!!!
