Grats on your win mate! Very strong command  presence with both Superiority and Promotion plus the Mercenery. Did you find that Doom could have helped you during your games?

Thanks, Nightstab! Honestly, I don't miss Doom at all. There has only been one game in the last 15 or so I've played where it would have been useful. I played this deck at different store championship where I mulliganed into a hand with a single unit that wasn't combat capable against a Ragnar deck. He was able to win by pooling all his units at the first planet a few times since the planets enabled round 3 and 4 wins. I actually came very close to winning that game, but I screwed up combat by attacking units in the wrong order in the final fight. For me, Doom's value isn't worth the deck space. I'd much rather have Visions of Agony as my silver bullet which has single handedly locked in quite a few wins for me and enabled a couple comebacks.

Happy with Eldritch Corsair in that slot? This style of DE deck seems to have a good amount of room for customization?

The Corsairs have been consistently good for me. I place a premium on high health units in a deck like this since they give you some serious staying power. I used to run Wildrider Squadron in that slot, but switching over to the Corsairs really helped me smooth out and lower the cost curve. This allows me to Klaivex and Archon's Terror more aggressively without worrying about burning out. I usually like to deploy a Warlock Destructor to planet one and a Corsair to planet two. This can make a commitment to either planet pretty punishing. The card pool at this point, however, is still very limited, and there is a good chance they will be replaced when another option becomes available.

About the Archon's Palace, I see you're running 3x. Considering it's unique, do you think it is so important?

In the upcoming meta with Zogwort's available, i think that DE will be much more aggressive cause they are one of the few factions that can very easily fit both plus 2 attack units in their decks without losing their core units.  I will certainly be trying out Bloodied Reavers and the Corsair in the same deck.

I have come to embrace Archon's Palace as a 3x. It is a card I want on the table turn one since its presence makes an enormous and immediate impact on the rest of the game. Drawing into the extra copies later definitely sucks, but that's a trade off I'm willing to make. The card is just so great - it causes your opponent a lot of strife.

Looks like a great deck.

I'd go -1 Twisted Lab => +1 Rogue Trader and -1 Archon's Palace => +1 Promotion though..

Thanks!

I will say that Twisted Lab was an invaluable contributor to two of my wins that day and a card I just love having in the deck. It allows you to play with confidence and little fear. Blanking AOE is a lifesaver and even dealing with something annoying like a Fire Warrior Elite or a Land Raider is great. I feel like it has a relevant target in basically every match up and in conjunction with Archon's Terror allows you to dictate what your opponents threats are actually capable of doing.
