This can be nice in a deck running The Kindly Man (VM) which recycles The Viper's Bannermen (PotS).
- You can draw 2 cards for taking them back to your hand (which you can´t at the end of the phase)
- and put into play antoher Army (ignoring the OOH penalty). How about Stannis's Northern Cavalry (Core) (maybe you can mod their STR?) or Drogo's Horde (IG)?
- If the Bannerman are already kneeling, the "new" Army comes into play standing.
... or House Umber Berserkers (BoRF) of course.
There's also Thundering Calvary which can be a nice surprise, especially outside Targ, and Stark has some decent STR manipulation while defending.

Also, their STR 6 let's DT put them into play through all STR 7 armies available, and they can also be used with the Kindly Man to stomp the board each round. Not necessarily overpowered, but could be fun :)

How would strength manipulation work with this, it says printed strength?
The Burned Men (MotM) for Tribes of the Vale (LotR)?

Nice :D
