I would rather see The Left and The Right as two separate characters and I'm not too crazy about this one card, but I hope it will be followed by whole House Tyrell theme pretty soon.

You have me imagining one with a large L printed on his top and the other with a large R now!

Having both of them would be nice indeed. Anyway, I would have expected some kind of saving effect, or not? And possibly also a synergy with Olenna!
This card is just a worse version of the Davos Seaworth coming in the next set. Seriously, I think FFG gets lazy in the Baratheon department.

Same cost, same keywords, no character ability, slightly different icon spread, no naval enhancement. Other than the idea that having 2 melee/renown characters in a challenge would make for some aweful challenge math, I agree this is a pretty lack luster card.
Well there is also neutral Thoros of Myr (TGM) with the same keywords as well and to my knowledge it hasn't seen much play. This is just strange/bad card

I've always had this suspicion that being more efficient in a POW challenge was somehow treated as being stronger than MIL or INT focused characters. The comparison between this and the new Davos reinforces that.

I've come around on Left & Right in a Tyrell deck. Throw the old school Hunting Spear on them & their melee keyword gets REALLY good! Give them a Tourney Lance for Joust & you draw a card + only STR 7 & up characters can win in a joust against these guys. Sure that's 7 gold worth of set up to get it going, but hey it's taking a 7+ STR character out of the mix at worst case scenario.
