No good support for Targ in this chapter. Here we have army 4for4 bicons without Allly treat! Blank in joust which eliminate this from play in this format immediately and weak limited response in melee, to get one power during defending. I don't see any reason to consider this card even in melee.
That is kind of a bummer that it's effect is only good for melee. I wonder why they did that. It doesn't seem to me like it would be overpowered (based on its cost) in joust. I mean, all that Martel "vigilant" and Taste for Blood stuff aren't "melee" only effects (maybe poor comparisons, but I don't care...)

I would disagree with you about its usefulness in melee, though. Seems pretty cool to me for either a Dothraki or Army-based Targ deck. LOTS of synergy for either of those traits available to Targ. If nothing else, I know it will replace the Core "Dothraki Honor Guards" I currently have in my Dothraki decks...
Interesting. I thought that army theme is quite difficult in melee.
Why? I admit I have limited experience w/customized decks, but seems that Favorable Ground, Muster the Realm, etc will all work just as good for you in melee as well as joust (even if you're not running a dedicated Army deck, but have enough to make them worth while and filling in whatever gaps you may have in an otherwise themed deck).

I'll be curious to see if this ends up in our meta's Dothraki player's deck. I'm not sure 4 for 4 non-unique would replace any of the other cards he's got int there. It certainly feels weaker than the 4 for 5 + war crest + deadly armies I run in my stark deck…
