Why do i look at this card, and think that the Houses are wrong. Surely they meant to give it Lannister/Martell? Intrigue is one of the weaker icons for each house (unless using Asshai in Bara), but they seem to be offering them more and more cards to make up for it.

Even being Strength 1 with Ally and Traitor isn't that risky as it is only two gold. Plus, the Response isn't limited to something dying to Deadly from this card, but anything dying to Deadly anywhere, so can be used if you lose someone when defending, or someone else entirely in a melee game.
This reminds me of Thirst-for-Vengeance (VM), but yea this is a strange card to see. Stark does have a good bunch of Deadly characters, Bara not so much.

As a ghost of winterfell, it really should be stark and greyjoy.

Correct house or not, I like the card. I just wish there was some reliable "lure effects" (forces opponent to declare defenders if able) available to make for an aggressive draw engine. Would be pretty fun.
Very good card for a Stark Deck or in a melee game.
This card will see a lot of play in Stark due to the high amount of Deadly characters. It will certainly be the new draw engine for my decks.
It's hard to use it as engine though since your opponent's always have the choice whether you draw a card or wins a challenge unopposed - not you. Making it very unreliable when you need the cards as most :(
If you want a Stark draw engine, run Guard at Riverrun (LoW) and The Blackfish (LoW). That is about as reliable as you can get without events or plots.
Fair point on the last 2 comments. Thanks for the heads up.
I dunno, I see this as being pretty nice in a few decks. Either you're killing stuff and drawing, or you're getting power. Mix it up with the
The Blackfish (LoW) to get his power on him, or Melisandre (RotO) to get extra power.

Make either option hurt for your opponent.

Run the new free city to make them even cheaper. :D

If you win a military challenge with a deadly character, and the defender chooses the participating defending character for claim, am I correct in thinking you wouldn't get to draw a card for this? Because the character was killed for claim, and not deadly right?
Correct, as no-one was killed for Deadly.
