I suppose the response could be useful to setup a kill effect, transfer power to a character then kill the character with a different response.

I'd like to point out that if you win a military challenge with this guy, you can use the response to put the power on the character who was killed for claim. Since the character is moribund, it is still technically in play. So the response essentially becomes, discard three power during a military challenge.

I think it is apparent we are equadevious

One other nice part about this card is you don't have to target the defending player, so in melee you could really work some nice shenanigans by attacking players who can't/wont defend your military/intrigue challenge but moving the power from another player who can't defend the power challenge. Using Seductive Promise you could potentially gain 10 power in one turn. You're sure to make some enemies but with that much power at stake if you pull it off there is a good chance the game will be over so it won't matter.

the response should be limited to once per phase. The card itself is already awesome considering baratheon will always have some unique characters on the board it will cost 4-5 to put down a 7 str no attachments army bicon and holy crest, with possible dupes on it since it is unique. Losing 3 power per tun without even counting power challenge is already a big hit.

I'd also like to point out that this card says "up to 3 power", so you can move only one and then use Melisandre (RoR). lol

I think it really is an awesome card with a lot of potential. You could use it to discard Tarle the Thrice-Drowned (RotO) from play immediately!

There are actually a ton of cards this could be used with, such as
Ser Jon Fossoway (MotA), Warhammer (TGM), Highgarden (TftH), Joffrey Baratheon (PotS) or (naturally) Melisandre (Core) or (thanks Staton) Melisandre (RoR).

Some OOH trickery would include buffing Ser Jaime Lannister (TftH), Ser Gregor's Band (LotR), or The Blackfish (LoW)

With all that said, I think it would be better costed if it was unique Asshai character, from any house, that reduced it instead of just any Bara unique.

Oh man. Warhammer just got more interesting.

This card ALONE makes me want this pack. The new cities, and army reducer too. A little more love for baratheon and a touch less for martell and greyjoy would be nice though... (They just got Quentyn Martell (VD) and another really good greyjoy save.)
Def not complaining. New Stannis, Willas, and Shireen are excellent cards.

Well everyone got Char-genda's, so I still feel Martell needed the attention. But this army really does make me want to try out a Bara deck!

Only thing I could come up quickly would be through Obella Sand (DB) and trait manipulation such as The Songs of Bael the Bard (AKitN) or Copper Link (GotC)

The Builders (ASitD) and trait manipulation or the wall and winter. I think obella is a pretty elegant solution though.

The Wall (TWoW) + The Builders (ASitD)? Although using The Builders in a Baratheon deck seems really silly. Maybe if they reprint this card....
