Can I pay the influence cost for 2 different actions? e.g. for Playing 2
The Prince's Wrath (PotS) Obviously not, because you can pay 1 influence for each action. Is that right? Same for
Locked Away (PotS) ??? Thanks!
Keep in mind the bonuses are modifications on your house card which are extremely difficult to get rid of; the best I can think of off the top of my head is Meera Reed (TftH) and that's only for a single phase. On top of that you have "paid for" and more the lack of a setup with the +2 gold per turn you were getting. Ready, safe, and always available influence cannot be underestimated. The initiative bonus is gravy.
Any effect which blanks a card does not remove the 'gained' text. Thus, Meera can't take away the bonuses since they are granted as gained text to your house card. I'm not sure actually of any way that does remove the bonuses.
That said, emptyrepublic is right. Running reset plots and character removal effects like Westeros Bleeds or something similar is very important to surviving the first turn since you are indeed behind from the start.
The errata makes KOTHH count as 5 cards at your command. Redwyne Straits gives a gold bonus to the player who has the fewest cards at their command. Unless your opponents regularly play six or more cards during setup, I don't think they would work well together.
The errata on KotHH states "counts as 5 cards at your command", so is it then possible to include at least one out-of-house card? I'm building a Stark shadows deck using KotHH and it would be good to have Cape Wrath (AJE) in these initial 5 cards to immediately give me the option of bouncing cards back into shadows.
Cards at your command is a total count of how many cards you have in hand, play, or shadows. It's used to determine the effects of cards like Redwyne Straits. It doesn't give you a choice of five extra cards to control or anything like that.
My misunderstanding - I've yet to build a deck around this agenda. So, the errata is really a control mechanism designed to close off the loophole of Redwyne Straits etc. The "5 cards at your command" included in the agenda's text remains as a permanent modifier throughout the game, then.
How does this work with Feast or Famine? Can you not choose the 6 extra income?
I think you can, because the "6 extra income" is not coming from a "card you control".
Whether they do or not, they are not affected by this card, which only stops cards from providing gold bonuses. Since there is no "+" in front of the gold number on a plot card, it isn't considered a "bonus."
I need a copy of the "House of Dreams' and "knights of the hollow hill", but I'm from Brazil and I can not buy them here. Can anybody help me?
