Could she choose herself to come back to play? Or has the timing to trigger the response passed by the time she finally enters the deadpile?

I don't think so. She triggers her response while she is moribound, so she hasn't reached the dead pile during the framework in which her response kicks in.

Kind of cool and some neat ways to abuse her, but does the "Prized 2" and her competing versions make this one better than the others?

Yes, but Prized 2 would trigger, so there's that. However, her + Called To Court (ODG) could be fun. Or even her + Coldhands (THtW).

Combo with Coldhands wouldn't work coz she immune to character abilities ;).

Prized still triggers anytime a prized character leaves play, so Called to Court is still going to trigger it...not that it wouldn't be worth it in many situations.

@Normak: Prized is only triggered on a character if it is killed or discarded from play:

It's confusing because when FFG first announced it, they did in fact say it triggered anytime a Prized card leaves play.

You're right! I was going off the old info FFG provided XD

I'm glad that's the case. So many more uses then. And if you can make river plots work (and Crossing the Mummers ford is certainly going to help with that), you can splash in an At the Palace of Sorrows.
