How does Moribund timing work with this and Valar? i.e. if I play this while my opponent valars will my kingsguard characters killed by valar be in the discard pile in time for this to work on them?
2nd edition can't come quickly enough as far as these kind of unintuitive rules go!
I'd argue that these situation are not unintuitive and that it all depends on what you are used to. Moribund is simply AGoT's version of "on the way out," and it actually makes a lot of sense that a card cannot be returned from the dead pile "on the way out" to the dead pile.
Because so much depends on what you're used to, I'll bet that for the first several months after 2nd edition comes out, people will be making all sorts of mistakes because they are still trying apply the moribund mechanic.
