It is usally with Copper Link (GotC) always attached to maester agenda. Those two cards together can destroy raven card. After kneeling maester we should use copper link to add treat raven to this card. Then we can use this effect to discard raven card from play. Autoinclude in maester build to deal with season decks.
The card states "1 non-Chain Attachment"

That meaning:

1) That it can discard ANY "non-Chain Attachment" in play? (Character; Location etc.)

2) Or Should I read that the card discards any "Attachment" that it's not a Chain?

I ask this because "Thin Link" is restricted, and the only way I think it could be justified is that if the card is a strong remove All.
But If the only thing it does is to discard Attachments... I don't see why it's restricted.

Thank you
It can only discard attachments without the Chain trait.
The hyphen clarifies.

non Chain Attachment would mean any card that wasn't a Chain Attachment

non-Chain Attachment means any Attachment that isn't a Chain.

It was restricted (along with some other OP Maester tech) because it pretty much stopped people playing attachments full stop.
