Autoinclude. 3for3 bicons learned crest is on its own not bad. If we add searching for 5 top cards event and add this it's better than just draw a card. Fortunately is not Stark only so can be used in maester deck with Oldtown Raven (TIoR).
Must in Stark deck. Good draw engine.
I've been recently questioning the wisdom of including Luwin; the draw is nice, but it also frequently means my events are no longer a surprise.

What do other people think?
Pretty much what the two previous posters said. He's efficient and almost always useful, especially if you are running him with At the Gates, a couple Riders of the Red Fork, and of course a decent amount of events. Not necessarily an auto-include (like maybe in a Bolton deck with lots of intrigue, or a deck with few or no events), but pretty darn close...

True the events (or Riders...) are not going to be a surprise, but there are those rare but wonderful times you draw that event you can actually use immediately (maybe a No Quarter or Price of War, Make an Example, Routing the Charge...) with some neat combo.
