In which situations / decks would I want to play this plot over The Winds of Winter ?

If you play Summer agenda perhaps.

Or have some character with renown who doesn't kneel in MIL (Crow killers, core Jaime, There Are No Men Like Me...).

If you want trigger some reaction to won challenges multiple times (Put to the torch, Blackfish+some stand effect).

If you want a War specific plot for some benefit (Robbs host, Vanguard...)

Lord of the crossing makes it easier for a 3rd challenge, it’s easier to win a military challenge if you can make two than it is to win 1. Can make your opponent kneel more, if you’re playing Martel and increase the claim on military with sunspear you get 2-2claim challenges. The initiative, and reserve are better. And yes these are all made much better with none kneeling,

Okay I see nice, thank you both for answering !
