The "if able" part confuses me here.  Can you force someone to defend even without the appropriate icon?  Or does lacking an INT icon render them unable? I know they would still count their STR if they are, indeed, forced to participate even without the icon.

Yes, the if able means that if they can't defend (a la being knelt or not having the icon), then it does not work.

Sadly that qualifier makes this a weaker card. If you go second you often don't have that many targets.

But if they went second they will have less characters left to defend so you can use Paramour to force opponent to declare his last guy with power icon to defend getting unooposed there etc.

Well, that's what we want them to do, let us go second... :)

Only if that guy also has an intrigue icon. Most decks I am facing (ie Greyjoy) don't tend to have more than 1 intrigue icon on the table so far.

She combo's nicely with Aero Hotah aswell.

Send her in and pull Dany, Viper or Tywin into a challenge and remove them with Aero Hotah. Most people will not commit another character to the challenge because they are already winning.

That's even better, since you don't have to worry about defending the intrigue challenge afterwards.

Yes, that card is so nice vs Dany. Or Mirri. Or Cercei. Or Tyene...

By far the best combo with this card is forcing people into challenges so you can kill them with Dracarys. The other nice one is forcing Ser Jorah Mormont to block, which he will win and (eventually) have to sac himself. The problem with pulling in the really big intrigue character is that they usually have some form of keywork (Renown, Intrigue) so they at least get something out of it.
