It might be hard to keep her at 0 str with new Winterfell location, however in Stark decks with new Catelyn it should be fairly easy to keep her at 0 and benefit from her insight.

So...I think someone needs to explain this card to me because I am not getting the 5 stars.

2-gold for a 4 STR bicon is good. I'm on board there. But...I'm feeling like you will lose that strength pretty quickly.

And as for the insight...it's a great keyword but getting her down to 0 strength limits its usefulness (though of course she can still attack with others)...

I just don't get the love here. I'm not really a fan of either of the Stark girls out of Wolves of the North but I at least understand where Arya fits (though I still think Core Arya wins out--especially with Septa Mordane).

EDIT:

Also, it's a small thing but the art is so much worse than Core Sansa. I don't know what is going on with her right hand...

She's just amazing tempo, and a strong intrigue icon in stark. If you get her early she's phenomenally cheap and shores up your board, and by the time her strength dips it's usually due to/time for the first board wipe, where she may die anyway.

If you draw her late, maybe her insight is already turned on and you can just replace the card in short order while giving you claim soak. Not necessarily amazing, but certainly better than other possible dead draws.

Really, the only time you're probably really sad to see her is when she's at 1 strength.

Four strength for 2 is great, particularly considering the icons. Three strength, hey that's still good. Two strength...well, she's not *great*, but she's still a Courtesan of the Rose with a good trait in a house that needs Int icons, and who's a unique Stark called 'Sansa Stark' that gives you a lot of potential synergy benefits. At one strength, she's bad. Then at 0 strength she's still pretty bad, but you can at least hopefully draw some cards off her.

I'd say she isn't even bad at 1 STR. She still has two good icons and lots of synergy potential including Winterfell Castle (for more STR), all the sacrifice effects, she could even have Renown or be stood by Lady. If nothing else, you can let Grey Wind eat her. Sure, she isn't very impressive at 1STR on her own but in a Stark deck she will most likely have lots of combo options at any STR.

I agree...but why should you use Grey Wind on her? I don't get it. Only because of Catelyn?

To trigger Robb and/or Catelyn depending on your board situation.

Edit: Winterfell Crypt as well, WotN Sansa is an excellent trigger for it since it only cares about printed STR.

ah. Now I see...sorry, I'm not a stark player and did not yet face it in 2nd. Nice
