A way to force a Shi Kyu in medtech. Snares, obviously. Shock is kind of underwhelming for this.

 

Timing problem; you need to have the trap in hand before pulling the trigger. If you are going for Snare you need 6 credits on hand to rez and Snare.

 

 

I don't know...very situational.

It works well in personal evolution because you'll want to hold onto a snare anyways. It's not really something I've used to tax the runner, but I've used it to win a couple games in the mid to late game. Not really something I'd build a deck around, but it's a pretty cool trap that can really mess with a runner.

I think I agree with KillerShrike's analysis on this one, but time will tell.

Allele Repression plays really well with this to recycle traps from Archives into hand during the encounter with Kitsune.
