do you lose the keywords protect and shield. Or if a shield is already out, is it not allowed to be used..
You can't trigger the "shielding" and "protect" keywords. A shield isn't the same as shielding. Any shield that is already in play will work normally. What the Moldy Crow stops is the capability to put new shields in play as long as it exists.
