Plenty of good uses. My favorite combo is with Han. Attack with Han alone. If only one defender, remove defender and let Han attack unopposed. If 2+ defenders, remove Han and let him attack something else (and get his reaction again). It can also make the "unblockables" that much harder to block. He has a similar effect on combat as Echo Caverns: he gives the LS a ton of options that makes it hard for the DS to find the best response.

Han is better.

Apples and Oranges. Lando is a control unit where Han is more aggro.

Lando helps out on defense and offense. On defense, the opponent will need to commit an extra unit to attack an objective to destroy it, so that sets up Sabotage or it provides an opening on your turn. On offense, the opponent can't over commit to a single units attack or else you pull your unit out of combat and they focus their units.

He combos really well with Echo Caverns. He is good for pushing the Emperor out of the engagement before he can focus out your board and then you can hopefully focus him out or targeted strike him to death.

He makes the Emperor more of a liability.

If you haven't found a a "good" use for this card then you haven't tried hard enough.

Um, no. Lando is amazing and allows all kinds of combos. Can help get you an undefended engagement or two. He is not better than Han. If anything I think Lando is better than Han and they work very well together.
For some reason, I thought you could only remove your own characters from the attack. Now I see tons of uses. And I think I need to get my eyes checked....

Well I guess I need to play more Star Wars then. Not being sarcastic. lol
Because I just haven't seen how amazing he is yet. I think I'll make a Smugglers build with him to see if I can "see the awesome."
han and lando are really 2 completely different animals. they are not really comparable imo. they do 2 completely different things. Han is certainly the aggro unit and lando is the control unit. being able to pull out your opponents units or your units is ridiculously powerful.

As i just posted somewhere else, Lando to me, is like the "yoda" of the S&S. he is elite, so he can hold the force, and can be used to defend in a pinch if you have protectors out, especially chewy. then he can use his ability every turn whether he is focused or not which is really powerful.

I just won a game the other night because my opponent only had the emperor to block and i had han and lando out, so i just pulled the emperor out of the engagement and killed him and finished off my 3rd objective. there is literally an infinite amount of situations that lando can affect. Its really mind boggling when you start thinking of all the possibilities. then add in echo caverns, chewy and the falcon......ugh.

I don't find him situational at all, and as long as you have resources he can have a significant impact on the board on every turn (LS and DS).  He can use his ability even when focused down, which I always rate highly.  Putting him into an engagement is something I typically avoid, unless the DS has no defenders, I can push one out, or I'm certain to win edge, as he is just so vulnerable with the two health.  (It is kinda fun for him to push himself out of an engagement, however).

Now if his set had a resource that was more designed to help fuel his ability, he could really come into his own.

His set does have a resource but both Trust Me and Questionable Contacts just couldn't keep up with the power curve. Both sets suffer from a poor pip count and the low health on all of the units across both sets is a major sticking point. Here's what I'd do to fix them:

Trust Me - Give Lando an additional pip, health and white bomb (1 resource on the unit optional). Saboteur would get another health as well. Then either the chud or event would get a pip to bring the total up to 8.

Questionable - I'd give the Smuggler an extra pip and health. I'd also give Crossfire another pip (I think Swindled is the better choice but Swindled is also in another pod). You can argue that Han is "balanced" around 2 health with his ability and black tactic but unfortunately if you don't win edge with him he's dead (and this is compounded with the pod itself being low edge) so he needs another health as well (at this point in the meta he's balanced by not being Elite).
