I'm a pretty casual SW player but does this situation (the enemy having 2 of the same Objective on the board) come up often? Don't know if I've ever seen it.
Still...2 for 2 Blast Damage isn't bad (though I wish one wasn't Edge Enabled).
It's not too common, but there are some objectives that are strong in singles, and even stronger in doubles.
Clear examples would be Counsel of the Sith and Tarkin Doctrine.
this card is amazing for the cost, hands down. It could be blank with no ability and it would still be great. the rest of the set however is another story.....
Paid Off is a pretty poopy card, but I like all the rest of this set and can pretty confidently say it'll see play in my mono-Smugs at least. The Duros in particular add a lot more blast to a deck that can already sport quite a bit with Falcon and Freeholders. The low edge count is the main downside, but Smugglers have good 3-pip edge cards and ways to generate card advantage by winning early edge battles--and the set comes with a cantrip that's also a shield! The only question is what to take out to add these guys since they'll have to go into one of the non-resource slots.
I actually like the rest of the set.
Nothing too exciting but I think it's a solid pod to round out a Smuggler's deck. Paid Off can be useful to force the Dark Side to work a little harder to get the Balance of the Force and Hiding Among Friends replaces itself so if nothing else it helps thin your deck and throws a Shield on the board. And Lobot is fine. Not amazing but I think he slots in pretty well to most Smuggler decks and doesn't depend on winning the Edge.
As for the Saboteur...you're probably right. Like I said, 2 for (potentially) 2 Blast isn't bad.
I would love to run this pod against the Jerjerrod's Task Challenge Deck, only for the power of this unit (especially if you manage to boost its number of blast icons)
