Can this guy use his reaction if he enters the discard pile from my hand? Like if I discard him for some reason?
How about if I place him in an edge stack and then he gets into the discard pile after that?
It doesn't say "when he's discarded" or "when he's destroyed" so I'm just curious if he can do it any time he enters the discard pile from anywhere.
Yeh, his reaction triggers when he hits the discard pile, not when he leaves play. So you can discard him in your draw phase or edge him and still get to draw thanks to his ability.
One of my friends loves to play Sith hand discard decks, so sometimes I'll run these just to mess with him.
