Hello!
Just to be sure - if this droid is damaged by combat icons (so damage tokens would be placed on it), IG-88C could capture any exhausted unit?
Yes. However, because IG-88C's ability is a Reaction rather than an Interrupt, he has to survive the damage to use it. If the Light Side kills him in one strike (with someone like May the Force Be With You Yoda), he can't capture anyone.
