I had a feeling we'd see this. Pretty useful for the exact purpose it had in the movie.

This is brutal to The Devastator. I love it!
It will also be great against the Executor when that comes out. I think once Edge of Darkness comes out and we see how many Droids that Scum are getting this cards usefulness will likely increase as well.

Actually, no, it will be mediocre as there will be times it cannot be targeted by card effects while its undamaged.
Frankly, I am annoyed by this card. It has it's uses, but aside from the Devastator at this point, the way it was used in the movie is exactly how you are NOT able to use it in gameplay. In the movie, it knocked a star destroyer out of commission, allowing the rebels to evacuate some of their forces from Hoth. Thus far, only ONE star destroyer (the Devastator), is actually vulnerable to this card. Lousy design decision.
It's not lousy design. Its just lousy against 1 specific unit, possibly a 2nd. It allows you to clear a way for attackers if they leave an AT-ST back to defend or an Interrogator Droid.
I really think people are selling this card short. Keep in mind that this pack was to be released the same month as the initial release date for Edge of Darkness. If Scum ends up being the "Droid Faction" as some of us believe it will be, this card will become more useful. Also if the art on Imperial Blockade is anything to go by we will likely see more Star Destroyers in Edge of Darkness.
Oh I am not saying it is a useless card. I love it's effects. I just think that a card that has a star destroyer being shot at in its artwork should be able to be used against all star destroyers. :)
If this card is played when an attack has already been declared, does it cancel the declaration? If I read the card correctly it has to be played right at the start of the conflict phase, otherwise its effect seems void.

Yah. If the attackers has already been declared, it's too late. It's not an Interrupt.

In this it works just like Force Stasis.
