This army unit is begging for a tron deck. Putting an Ion rifle on it will pump it to a 5/5.
This card would have gotten 5-stars from me but for the problem/lure of putting too many attachments on it and then having the "all your eggs in one basket" problem, LOL!
First of all, that's why you take the FW Elite. Second, who says you have to put all your eggs in one basket? Buzzsaw said it, one attachment turns these guys into killers. Two is just mean.
Mark my words here Darikgrey. Someday playing this game, your Tau opponent is going to toss down this unit with an stealth cadre attachment and a repulsor impact field making him a 4/7 and you are going to poop your pants because of how difficult it is to deal with him. lol.
Even if you exhaust him before he attacks, you have to manage 7 damage on him with a 2 damage ricochet effect on all of your units that hit him. At that point, unless you have a monster tank out or something, you might as well just reserve all of your units to destruction and give the planet up.
This unit is great if you can get attachments on it and horrible otherwise. Luckily, only 1-2 good attachments are necessary to make it worthwhile.
I agree but if you were running this card in anything but a attachment deck than you are a silly deckbuilder. lol
Quite a good card with Shadowsun, apart from that not one of the most flexible Tau cards. 2.75/5 currently (if I could rate it like that). For sure it's great with Ion Rifle, but lets be honest, what's not great with Ion Rifle?
I expect a 4 cost card to be effective without any aid. And this card needs the aid of at least an attachment.

With 3 attachments, he's a 1/4/5 plus whatever the attachments give. That's 3 extra cards to make him into a barely playable 4 cost unit. I don't add in the stats that the Ion Rifle gives him because ANY unit you put an Ion Rifle on gets that +3 ATK. I'm fine with units needing a combo to be awesome - when they need a combo to be average, that's lame.
No thanks. Way to much setup. If it had two hammers, maybe.
