One of the reasons to main DE. Taking a key resource might mean the difference between your opponent playing a drop pod assault or not.

This will be played for the 2 shield icons, the ability it has is a bonus that can handicap an opponent when played at the correct time.

Excellent card for both its ability and its shields.

This card gives a big advantage in the deploy phase as both the ability, and the fact that it delays you by a deploy for 1 turn makes it much more likely your opponent will pass and leave you free to make deploys wherever you want.

I like it and been somewhat useful in my deck. However the flavor doesn't match the mechanic. Why do I need to have lower resources to raid? DE should be able to raid whether they have resources or not...

I guess there have to be some restrictions because it's a 0 cost event card.

Well, yay. I guess no one can take a card from me if they play this event since I'm not a "he".

Fantastic effect and an auto-include for any Dark Eldar deck. 5/5.

An auto-include 3x in any DE deck, but it's not always triggerable. It's limited, too.

5/5

Just to be sure: Owing to the fact that there's no regular "Action Window" during the mobilisation phase, you can't just play something expensive and then drop Raid right after, right?

Right. During the Deployment Phase you have to take Actions as a Deployment Turn.

What you'd need to do is play something expensive and hope that your opponent plays something less expensive. Then you can drop Raid as your next action in deployment.

As Ktom said above knowing that DEs have Raid could be terrible for the opponent because he/she might be forced to drop heavy units first and small units last messing a lot the scheme he/she follows with others factions. Nasty card.

I've often been hit with Raid in the deployment phase following the turn in which a Klaivex Warleader was ambushed in. Usually the Dark Eldar player has less resources at this point.

Right.

Of course the other thing that can happen is Raid being played as a combat action straight after the Warleader is ambushed in, which can be the better play for the DE player if he lacks initiative next turn, or if he hasn't used his Limited play on this turn.
