Interesting! Basically Mystic Warden with a different drawback (surcharge for non-red planets, instead of forced sacrifice).

I like it. Could definitely see this working its way into my Ethereal build.

Why no "kroot" trait? Carnivore Pack from the core set had it. I was hoping we'd eventually see kroot synergies.

Hmm I was hoping so too, with some form of kroot warlord or at least a unique unit later on.


Not a bad card, Think this is waiting for the necron's to be released as it would synergies quite well with the bonuses for Non-Necron cards, plus it's scout trait will be good to go with the Tomb Blade Squadron

With the recent release of Shaper Agnok I was trying to put together a Kroot themed deck when I realize this unit doesn't have the Kroot trait.  WTF?  

I 100% agree, it's probably one of the weirdest card from FFG ! Got the name but not the trait :D Anyways, I opened a deck thread to discuss about Agnok. I built a deck that eventually works. Trying to make it better. Any additional comments about it is welcome Ultramarine :)



Best use I've seen for this guy is in a Tomb Blade Anrakyr deck since he's free and easy to recur, making him a decent first planet bully (when it's red at least). Problem is, the Tomb Blade Anrakyr deck is one of the worst builds for Anrakyr :P. He's also not terrible in Aun'shi, but Aun'shi normally strapped for space.


I agree, though, that the lack of a Kroot trait is bizarre.
