I actually really like this card. At some point in the meta elietes will get some support and we will start seeing them. I have played this with a teleporta pad and fall back with GREAT effect. Best target for fall back. if you have the support for it this card is actually worth the price.
Although I normally hate big units with many command icons, a second hammer here would have made the Battlewagon a very decent elite, I think.
For sure this card is better as the Goff Nob for Orks but even now it comes in at a heavy price. The ability however is very good and will mean that it's incredibly hard to actually win a battle against Orks having the Big Shoota Battle Wagon around. If it only costed 1 less I would have rated it higher. We sort of see that you pay 1 extra for the Elite trait now.
3/5
1 command more than the Goff Nob is a really really big thing for a deck with access to Tellyporta pad, as you can park him upstream then move him in if needed. With Goff Nob, there's no benefit from being parked upstream.
I actually like this card a lot: the cost is steep, for sure, but there's no doubting its combat quality.
I'm actually thinking about the synergy with Coteaz, and that can be impressive
Just be aware that if you sacrifice this unit to Coteaz's ability, you won't get the Snotlings because "sacrifice" and "destroy" are different things (when it comes to the triggering conditions for interrupts and reactions, anyway). You'll have to let the Battlewagon be killed by something else, but then you've got a mess of Snotlings to sacrifice to Coteaz.
Yes, you are correct. Even Fall Back! can't be used if the unit is sacrified, what's a pity >_<
This card is turning out to be seriously good, in the matches I've played with and against it. Its surprising how much damage 4 snotlings can put out if an opponent doesn't have AoE or a swarm of their own.
This card looks to me to a great buddy for Nazdreg, and for Tellyporta Pad, and for KFG. 4 HP makes it quite hard to shift, as a shield or two against even a solid attack leaves it with a Brutal-enabled huge attack value.
All in all, its much better at winning combats than Goff Nob or Killa Kanz are.
Now I'm thinking that for Nazdreg, one to two copies is very sensible as a finisher move.
For Zogwort, I'm less convinced. While you'd think snotlings and Launch Da Snotz = solid combo, far too often an opponent can run away and then let the forced reaction remove 4 snotlings.
"Snotlings are small, green creatures that often accompany orcs or orks and goblins in raids, WAAAGHs! or defense battles. They either fight in swarms or they are the crew of a snotling pump wagon."
Finally figured it out. I think.
Total rookie here, but Asklepios' comment reinforces a thought I've had with both Tyranids and Orks. Some of the "swarm" cards in each deck seem to be better of for the non-swarm warlord. This one would be one because of the way Brutal would make this a monster. If you want to pull an Archon's Terror out of your opponents' hand, I would think this card at a planet with Nazdreg would do it right away.
Mass more than one wagon on a single planet... 8 or 12 Snoots can turn the battle in orc favour. Just lost to 3 wagons on last planet.
