A nice boost to sand snake decks but not enough to make them competitive given that all the other houses gained fleets in this chapter pack. Shame the Martell army in this pack is only useful for a subtheme but the other armies are not.

I found interesting that both Martel cards in the pack have abilities that trigger by discarding cards.
I agree with all points made there. If this mechanic continues, Darkstar is going to be even more popular.

Not to say its a bad card however. Strength 7 stealth for effectively cost 4 is very nice, especially as in terms of outright strength for cost efficiency Martell only really has lost spearmen and citadel refugee (and even they have a higher cost potential).

Newbie question - my friend played this card and then in a later marshaling phase, she brought out a second copy of Lady Nym's Guard.  Because it is not a unique, she played it as a second guard card and not as a 'second life' to the first Guard card.  Is this correct?

Follow up - if I had Joffrey's Guard (which is unique) and I brought out a second copy, it would go under the first as another life correct?

Correct; non-unique cards of the same name that a player controls are separate characters. So your friend would have 2 characters on the board both named Lady Nym's Guard. If you control a unique card, and then you play another card with the same name, it attaches itself as a duplicate. Just remember that unique cards in your dead pile prevent you from bringing a card of the same name into play.

That's correct. If a card is unique (it has the little black flag/banner icon next to it's name), any additional copies of it that you play become duplicates, or an extra life as you called it. Since Lady Nym's Guard is not unique, you can have multiple independent copies of it in play at the same time.
