I still find myself tripping over (triggered) effects vs. abilites - does this mean that she's even immune to deadly?

Deadly is a keyword and a keyword is a card effect (as far as I know) so yes she would be immune to deadly.

Just checked some of the threads on FFG's forum - it seems she would be immune to basically everything, including Valar (not if you played it yourself though). The only way to get rid of her would be if she died for claim, I guess. Wow.
i like to put the northern steel attachment on her. It cannot be discard if attached to a Stark character. she gains either 4 STR or deadly. People see STR 1 and the ally trait and think "oh, she'll get burned or discarded with Ally hate cards." but she is immune to all of that: Events, Locations, passive or trigger character abilities, plots even opponent's attachments.

run 3x copies to absorb the claim, with out of house Aegon's Blade for +2 STR, Renown and Stealth.

Money!

I play her in my Bolton Deck, but only one copy - I never really saw the amazing potential this card has. Pretty crazy! :-)
Ok, she maybe is very good (or even outstanding) in immunity but still she don't have any ability that will really help you to win the game. Still here opportunities are situational... And there is one other thing... you cannot use Arya...

Sure, that's a valid point. And you really need an attachment or some other ways to buff her strength or something (maybe some trait manipulation?). But yeah, she's not a powerhouse in a traditional sense. Just very hard to get rid of. :-)
Northern Steel (TBoBB) or Aegon's Blade (Core) are both good choice for Cat, but on her own, she is not a big deal. But she is a cheap tricon, and with a good attachment, she can hurt. Giving her deadly is always nice for an intrigue challange, and triggering the Kindly Man as an agenda, and you can bring the discarded heavy hitters for military or power.
What about Wildfire Assault (Core)? There are four characters on my table (Cat included). Do I have to kill one of them?

If you played the Wildfire - yes, because she is only immune to your opponent's cards. If your opponent played it, she is indeed immune to it. Wildfire is a card with an effect.
I used her recently in a melee deck using Black Sails agenda, and she is a beast with White harbour Dromon. Getting renown each turn thanks to the support of a big friend to push the challenge though. And they couldn't get rid of her with burn or reset plots, she did better then Beric! Ended up with 6/14 power on her, until the game ended.

If she is in a challenge with Riverlands Hunter or any other the other house versions,,,does the "While Riverlands Hunter is participating in a challenge, characters with more than 1 icon do not count their STR" apply or not?  I'm guessing it doesn't.

She is immune to card effects, his effect does not apply to her.

She is immune to opponents card effects, so if she is attacking with one of your cards than yes she would be effected by it.

Thought so, thanks very much
