I like how a Str 0 character can challenge, and so long as they don't oppose with 4 or more strength, you will win the challenge.

Being immune to non-plot effects is a nice added bonus, so it can help protect from location hate, such as GJ mirror.
Where will GJ players find room for this?!

Oh FFG, this card has the same problem Castle Battlements (VD) had pre-errata...

They just need to amend "self immunity" to say "nor does bestowing immunity ever negate itself via that immunity."

not unique so you can have 3 out there with an added 9 str for a military challenge, will really help out my greyjoy holy deck
Ire & WWDrake wrotes:

Combined [...] with the plot The Grand Melee (TGM) you will always win M challenges that turn.

Is it correct, that you can add the STR of the Outfitted for War Warship to a challenge if the plot is on the table?
Ah, from Arrdet:

From the rule book;

Add the total STR of the attacking characters.
This becomes the total attacking STR. Then add
the total STR of the defending characters. This
becomes the total defending STR.

So it stands to reason that this determination of total strength is what the plot refers to, meaning then that anything that specifically modifies the total challenge strength such as The Shadow Tower and the melee titles will still function.

So the answer should be: yes
If an opponent attacks with a low STR character, and I lower its STR to 0, will he still get the bonus or will the challenge fizzle?

If an opponent attacks with a low STR character, and I lower its STR to 0, will he still get the bonus or will the challenge fizzle?

He would still have a character in the challenge, so it would continue normally.

If I attach this to longship maidens bane would outfitted for war then become discarded because the warship is considered a character?

Yes, if it is attached to something other than a location it gets discarded.

On a different note, if you use a 1 Strnegth naval attacker against yourself you can gain the 3 Strength bonus as a defender. Also useful for any naval attackers that have an effect that triggers after they participate as an attacker (don't know if there are any, though).

If my warship gets frozen solid placed upon it, can I then attach this to the same warship to counter frozen solid?

If my warship gets frozen solid placed upon it, can I then attach this to the same warship to counter frozen solid?

I would hesitantly say yes.  No doubt someone will come back with a reason why I'm wrong, but I don't see why that wouldn't work!

Well, Frozen Solid takes away the entire text box, including traits. So since your location is no longer a warship, it's not going to be very easy to get this on a location after it has been Frozen Solid. But yeah, if you manage to give the location back its warship trait, you could attach this and it would counter Frozen Solid.

I knew I'd have missed something!

Not Cool, didn't realise that it blanked traits too! But I guess it would state that it didn't such as milk and Renly's courtier both state except for traits in their text.
