This goes straight into my Maege Stark deck. More incentive to run Lannister/Brotherhood no power on house card decks, crikey.

Its a 2 gold location that requires you to win a challenge in order to move a single power. Meh is the best thing I can say about the card.

its not house stark only so i might put this into my Baratheon Wildling War Crest deck. through the kings ground on it and enjoy, might still be too expensive

It doesn't require you to win a challenge at all. After an opponent's character is killed by a card effect. I Bear Island/No Quarter/etc you, I take power.
This card is a beast. For a 2 cost location im very impressed. Especially with the sheer amount of kill Starks can muster.
Really? :s I'm having a hard time imagining that I'll ever even try it out. 2 gold is definitely a cost that matters, and since it only does anything at all along with other kill cards it might too often end up doing nothing at all. And when it does, it will probably only let me steal a power or two. I would be better in Melee to steal power on other players' kill efects too and Valars, but in Joust I'm not fond of it at all. I'd rather just run a power grabbing event card instead if I want the power - they also works without other specific components.

Maybe in The Kindly Man / House Umber Berserkers deck :D
If it was to claim a power id be inclined to agree but the ability to steal an extra power a turn just for killing something seems strong to me. Essentially its a 2 power swing per use and I think thats worth its weight in gold.

Although, I could be wrong. I often am.
If you kill more than one character from different opponents in a melee game with Valar Morghulis (Core) or House Umber Berserkers (BoRF), can you move more than 1 power to your house card?
Ups, you have to kneel the location, so ignore my question...

I think it's a great "I have a slot left" card. It'll be subbing in for
Winterfell Practice Yard (ODG) in the deck.
I usually have the opposite problem ^^

heard before of the urban legend "i have a slot left". :)
Usually I have the problem of reaching the 60-card limit in a blink of an eye, and struggling, which card to drop. This card never makes it in the top 60. Baratheon has a same one Claw Isle (EB), and it is rarely if not at all played
I think it would be good in a The Siege of Winterfell (LoW), since it moves power instead of claiming it. But yeah, 2g is a bit pricey. Good with Maege Mormont (AHM) though.
Which then defeats the purpose of running it with The Siege of Winterfell (LoW). Part of the reason I don't understand the purpose/design of this card. What kind of deck is this even supposed to be used in? I guess the kindly man/house umber berserkers idea mentioned above would make the best use of this... What the heck, I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Could fit into like rushy Stark Knights murder decks, or any Siege deck that doesn't run Maege, if you must play it. But I would very much like to hear such a report agkmte :)
Does deadly count as a card effect or is its keyword nature going to mess that up?

Is Cat o' the Canals (RoW) immune to deadly?

It seems this has been discussed in length at FFQ, and the resulting vote was:

"Keywords are card effects. Deadly is a keyword."

If you didn't have to kneel it...it would be amazing!!! But in a siege deck or murder deck, this is a given seeing as it's a win-win for nothing...(one power taken...one power gained)
I'm seeing this as a melee substitute for Make an Example (PotS), now that the latter is restricted there. Now what to put in for the other two copies . . .

First of all, outside of Minstrels muse, the Starks don't have a huge amount of ways to gain power. Secondly, it doesn't say you have to be the one doing the killing, anyone can trigger it. Mixed with bear island your getting a power every round, maybe more if you can stand locations. For 2 gold, that isn't bad at all.

p.s. There is no limit to how many time you can do it.
