This is amazing in so much as you can let your own characters die for deadly and still claim power. Or in a melee let someone else's characters die for someone's else's deadly. It's still not auto-win but it's nice.
Agreed. I do think you're not going to see its power grab very often though. Deadly typically creates unopposed challenges in anything other than military. And, in those cases, typically, the opponent will defend with one character and it dies for CLAIM not Deadly, so you still won't see power for it. So, really, the only benefit is going to be to add Deadly if you want it to create more unopposed challenges.

martel lannister using BRONN :) reverse deadly
The Blackfishhhh! This opens so many doors to victory, be it unopposed challenge wins, deadly power claims and a greater chance to quell incoming military challenges by negating deadly. Pair it with Frozen Outpost and Bound by Duty and factoring in his natural renown and you're racking up the power fast, drawing cards AND will see your Tully companions not kneeling to attack in no time. Will have to trial this combo first hand whether or not it's worth the out-of-house cost, but on paper it sounds sweet. Anyone tried this?

Of course, negating deadly would almost be counter-productive while this is attached considering you'd be denying yourself free power. Still, useful if running Riverrun in this situation I guess
