Would he possibly be worth playing out of house in Targ Burn? To recycle Flame-Kissed etc that would be discarded after killing a character. Preferably attaching it to a character that one can kill again with additional STR reduction the round after or just after standing (if it is Threat from the North rounds etc).

Anyone who have tried it?

Worth a shot. Was going to say it could work with Ice too, but it doesn't (Ice cannot be saved, sadly).

Pretty underrated guy in general, I think; decent body with a good effect, though I guess burn attachments get more benefit than anyone else.

Running him out of house you're paying 5 gold for a character you can't use in challenges in order to save a 2 gold attachment. I love card advantage as much as anyone but I'm not totally sure that's worth it.

Really? You can use Myr (AHM) to decrease his cost. Furthermore it's not about saving attachment, but killing another character and that's completely different thing...
Good idea Laxen :)
If you were going to use Ser Davos in such a way, would that allow your opponent to save their character since the attachment is no longer attached to the original character?
No, the attachment only becomes eligible to be saved when the character its attached to becomes moribund:destination (presumably dead pile), which is after the window to save the character.
Pretty cool, nice way to move Demon's Dance around.
This Davos with Maester Cressen (Core) can boomerang any condition attachment thrown down on your character to an opponent's character. Boom Shaka laka!

Would he work with Mels Favor?

Well it looks like you cannot given that there are no cancel/save opportunities at the end of a phase. But I imagine it works just fine if you kill the character.

That's correct Conscience.

So this would allow you to move an opponent's Rusted Sowrd from their character to one of yours if the attached character became moribund, correct?

I would think you could but your opponent would still control it for all intents and purposes as you are not taking control of the attachment just moving it
