imo, this card is one of the most annoying cards i've ever played against. Especially in bara recursion. Constantly with the free characters.

If I play a lord from my hand and have 2 of these in my hand/discard pile, can I put both into play?

Yep. 'One response per trigger' rule definitely doesn't apply here as those are two different cards if that's what you are worried about.

If I play a lord char from my discard pile during a Mel's Scheme turn, do I get to put these guys into play?

Nope, the card says from your hand.

But Mel's scheme play as if they were in your hand, so everything treats it as if it were you hand, such as Fear of Winer. So I can't see why you wouldn't get the Entourage into play.

Actually, you can use a character played via Melisandre's Scheme to trigger Royal Entourage, since those characters count as having been played from your hand for all intents and purposes - see here for details.
