While the stats aren't impressive at first glance, it is effectively a 3/0/1. But what catches my eye the most is when you get the gold - As the reveal effect, not increasing the gold income. As a fan of Shadows, I see it as a way to bring something out of the Shadows that costs up to 2 gold, without waiting for the Challenge phase to roll around.

That is a really good point. And then can do that again during the next round when you repeat it's effect.
"When revealed, add 2 gold from the treasury to your gold pool. Then, if this is your revealed plot card, trigger the "when revealed" effect on ANY River plot card in your used pile."

This plot. So many good things. ANY RIVER plot in your used pile, not just the top! And 2 gold? Yes please! These rivers are sort of toolboxy and I like it!

ANY?! I never noticed that bit. I was pondering this being an early plot, but now I'm thinking it would be better mid-late game, so you can have gold and any other used effect.
