“A Cask of Ale”

That I understand, it just feels awfully wrong. Thanks.

Yes.

"A player’s revealed plot card is considered in play and interacts with the game state" (RRp15).

"Cards by default enter play under their owner’s control. Some abilities may cause cards to change control during a game" (RRp14).

Well thank you, Lannister-Rains-Killer!

Ok. Not sure if that is what the designers had in mind but its what his text says. Thanks

On theirinthrone, Rickon can cancel the reaction, even if you choose to stand and draw and NOT search. Is this correct?

Yes. The ability still has the word "search" in it, so it can be cancelled by Rickon regardless of which option the player intends to choose.

Ser Robert Strong

Yes, they can be used in the same deck since no rule or text forbids it.

Ser Robert Strong

would it be allowed to have ser gregor clegane and ser robert strong in the same deck? storywise they resemble the same person in different "condition" but rulewise they don't represent the same card.

Northern Armory
-----

That is correct, unless you have a way to remove it from play and then put it back in play.

Northern Armory
-----

May 09 2019 08:34 PM by Elbslayer

so is the "stand a stark char" actually a 1 time effect only since the armory is not to be allowed to stand again?

Raiding Khalasar
-----

Apr 29 2019 10:15 AM by jumbles

That would be correct if you also had an attacking Bloodrider.

Raiding Khalasar

If a player has multiple Raiding Khalasar's in one challenge, does each of them raise the claim value by 1?

Example:
Plot claim :1

2 Raiding Khalasars: 2

Raised claim : 3

Hi, could someone clarify for me, if I would use this scheme in RAINS, together with Casterly Rock will I be able to play 3 INT challenges (+1 from Casterly Rock; +1 from the Spider's Web) or still only two?

Castle Black
*****

You don't bring the character out of the challenge. You just stand him and add 2 Str. A character usually has to kneel to join a challenge, but remaining kneeling is not a requirement of participating in a challenge a character has already joined.

It lasts through all phases. It is a constant ability.

No, he don't left the challenge. You declare him as defender (must kneel), then you can use Castle Black after he is already at the challenge as a defender. He will than stand and get the bonus, but stays in the challenge. He will be able to contribuite in this challenge with +2 STR and still be used after the challenge (because you stand him).

Can you explain the meaning of the card? Playing the castle, I stand the character and bring him out of challenge. But at the same time, I add to him 2 STR that act only in THIS challenge. But he is no longer a party to the challenge, and in the next challenge STR will not be added. Help me!

Yes, the crown character will be killed before the Confiscation can remove the Crown. Confiscation will need to remove something else instead.

I encountered a situation that sparked a ltitle debate in a round last night. Does the "and is killed if its STR is 0" continue to apply throughout all phases?

For example, an opponent that attacks me would have -1 STR from the plot, and -1 from Dany standing -- therefore have -2 STR, and if they only have 2 STR would they then die??

I used "Dragon Sight" to add another -1 STR to non-dragon characters for a compound effect, and the three of us playing agreed that it made sense for any characters hitting 0 STR would die as long as the plot is active, since essentially the Targaryans just lit the battlefield on fire. But i'm curious what others think.

The Wall

I believe that is correct.

The Conclave

You get to look at them.

The Wall

Does this mean that your neutral characters are no longer neutral when this card is in play? So, e.g., cannot be knelt for Tithe?

When it says "choose 1 card under this agenda", do you get to look at them, or is it just pot luck?

The Starry Sept

Could be good in a Stark deck with Catelyn, the Blackfish, Riverrun, Vyman etc.
