Can I capture cards under missions?

Yes. Light Side missions count as Dark Side objectives under the Dark Side player's control.

Then, what if:

I have 4-LOM with 1 health, I "have" Ground Support with one captured card under it.

Question: Can I put 4-LOM into play immediatly, if ground support is destroyed?

Edited version of FFG FFQ: "Missions are a special type of objective." Therefore, if Ground Support is destroyed by the LS thereby rescuing the captured card you would be able to use his reaction.

My guess is no. The mission rules say that the reactions to completing missions can't be completed until the mission enters a player's victory pile. By the time that happens, the captured cards would have already been returned to the Light Side player's hand as part of the process of leaving play. Since 4-Lom is in play at that point, his reaction won't trigger.

Can Target of Opp and Rebel Assualts be played against missions? I presume not since they're not actual Obj and rather they'd be treated like Trench Run in that sense.

While in play or in a player’s victory pile, for the purposes of game and card effects, missions are considered to be objectives.

They absolutely can. As muddvader started, they are considered to be objectives while in play.

Trench run does not say it's like an objective, only that it can be engaged as though it was a DS objective.
Awesome. So if I destroy Final Battle and have Ground Support in play, I can used FB's reaction to destroy GS?

You can't have both in play, sadly, as they're both missions.

Each player may have only one mission in his play area at a time. While a player already has a mission in his play area, another mission cannot enter his play area for any reason.
