If this ability triggers at a planet with Zarathur, does Old One Eye take an extra damage?

Zarathur's text says "WHEN damage is assigned to an enemy unit at this planet, increase that damage by 1", and given that this text says "AFTER this unit is assigned damage" Old Stink Eye will indeed need to take the extra tick.

And I'd like to say that I think the rating at this stage (3 stars, just up from 2) is too low. Although not a 5 star car perhaps, it is surprisingly killy and survivable, and all for a bargain price of 2.

Its worse that that, I'm afraid. Reassignment counts as a new assign damage process.

So, say you do 1 damage to this unit. Zarathur then boosts that to 2 damage. You then reassign 2 of that to Old One Eye. Zarathur then boosts that reassignment to 3 damage. So thanks to Zarathur 1 damage at the original site has now become 3 damage at the new one!

Similar situation, confirming the concept:

My favourite play with these guys is having your Warlord at planet 4 or 5, command sniping, where these guys are alongside my synapse in the thick of it. Why? Because the damage can be assigned to OOE even if he isn't at the same planet. This is huge!

(Then as battle progresses down the line, OOE can get rid of the damage anyway from his own effect. Super cool.)

Ok, but this happens only if OOE is on the same planet of Zarathur's, right?

Excellent card that your enemy can't ignore

This might be my favorite art in the game right now.
