A high cost but a truly amazing effect. I believe this card will have more effect on how people play against you than on how you play, with a lot of nervousness whenever they deal your Warlord less than 7 damage in one go, so long as you have 3 resources held back.
A 2 cost or 2 shield would have made this a 4/5 card. As it is, the high cost is especially hard for Chaos to pay. 3/5.
A high cost event with an incredibly powerfull effect. If anything this can be a reason to play Ku'Gath since it makes your Warlord incredibly hard to get bloodied and this card can basicly read: Win target (late-game) battle.
However it's cost and Shield Icons don't make it a perfect card.
4/5
You're mistaken I think, Killax. I believe you CAN shield indirect damage. Its moved damage you can't shield.
Yea you can shield indirect damage, so you can shield the damage from Fetid Haze.
Yeah edited!
A situation came up in a recent game where Fetid Haze was played against me while I had two ready Blood Angel Veterans. I redirected one damage counter to each BAV and prevented the damage using their ability. Is that legal?
On the same token if my opponent used Ork Kannon against me, can I also prevent the damage using BAV ability?
Yes. BAV can prevent indirect damage assigned to it. There is no special limit on the type of assigned damage BAV's ability can prevent. If it can be assigned, it can be prevented.
