Torquemada Involunteers [Version: 1]

Cheap conscripts with off-the shelf Lasguns are the driving force of this deck, but with a bit of setup, it can have some nice tricks for Ranged combat.

Straken Marines [Version: 1]

Orkish Warriors were already booked elsewhere, so Straken is bolstered by a number of Marine Soldiers. The only of these decks that makes serious use of Deep Strike units, with a possibly surprising Warlord assassination angle due to the Honorifica Imperialis attachments.

Maksim Tanks [Version: 1]

Tanks, Vostroyans, Enginseers and a couple of Supports for the Warlord ability - another deck that mostly built itself from what was left of the Imperial car park after completing some other decks. Infantry Conscripts were a must include with 11 support cards.

Kith Khymeras [Version: 1]

Apart from flooding the board with nasty token beasties, I've tried to include the Hunting Grounds. Due to a lack of Creatures, they won't always work, but the Clawed Fiends should make it fun if they do.

Urien Torture [Version: 1]

Urien certainly steers a deck into a very fixed direction. The real choices in building this were for the units, where I tried to go for aggression and command icons to fuel your draw.

Salaine Morn Reavers [Version: 1]

More than enough units to benefit from the Warlord ability, so the deck-building choices here were more what to leave out. Holding cell as the single exception seemed a nice thematic fit for a gang of slaver pirates.

"𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘐 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘸 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩, 𝘯𝘰 𝘈𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘈𝘮𝘮𝘰 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘩!" -- Torquemada Coteaz, after receiving a defective shipment of Krak Grenades

It all started when Coteaz returned planetside from his Formosan Black Ship. Tasked with mustering the guard, he arrived with an unusual showing. His own elite retinue was nowhere to be found while claims that they had performed some noble deed off-world and would not be arriving any time soon. In their place? An entire battalion of engineers from the Death Korps.

Suspicious, the Inquisition mustered their own valuable specialist, an Interrogator Acolyte, as well as a speedy troop transport, so they could ferret out the truth of the matter.

He never met Coteaz. Captain Markis intercepted him.

Then began the procession into the Astro Militarium's ammo depots under the guise of restocking spent explosives or demolition packs, each engineer finding their way into nooks and crannies far away from the Munitorium's watchful eyes instead of promptly returning to their stations.

When everything blew up, there was only Coteaz, his insurance agent, one new contract freshly inked with "T.C.", and a smile growing gradually larger on the Inquisitor's lips.

Updated Coteaz [Version: 1]

This is the rough outline of the Coteaz deck that went 5-1-0 during Swiss in the Black Crusade (draw due to opponent having a baby which seemed like a legit excuse to bail). Two of its games game can be found on the Hive Tyrant's youtube channel
