Another River card which may persuade people to try the plot series. It has decent stats which makes a change. I quite like it.
Agreed. Nice boost for Brotherhood as well (presumably house card counts as a card you control?)
How is this a boost for Brotherhood?
It does count as a card you control, but the fact that it's each opponent discarding means it's only a boost for Brotherhood if you get an unwanted power on your house card and your opponent plays this plot ;).
So you can't remove a power from your house card?

"Each opponent" means your oppponents, so no, this card effect doesn't effect you in the slightest.
nice to se a high income river plot with a nice effect.
Yeah, this one is pretty good, but others are still useless. (I've made a deck that could reveal 6 plots a turns using the plot changig Bran, the ever-standing Marya Seaworth, inn at the Kneeling Man, Needle + Massey's hook, but ignoring the fact that it was so much fun to play, it couldn't do anythin else, but run through the plot deck in every turn. The same deck with the city plots was killer)
In my opinion river plots work best in melee games. And text on this plot is great. Lets say u play in 4-players game, when u reveal this one, u remove 3 powers (if able, from every opponent), then when u reveal new river plot, u copy text from this one again(so again 3 powers), but it ins't over there. Lets say u have Under the Bridge of Dream (when u reveal this one u can copy text of any played river plot, so that is 3 powers again). So far u discarded 9 powers (3 each). And all of that is only from plots, don't get me start with Flood Waters event, let's say u get one of this, or with bit of luck maybe two...
You see where i am going with this.

Definitely melee based plots, the weak plots saving grace is because they affect all opponents. I'm hoping river plots get more love in this new cycle, the new warships alone will make playing flood waters better in houses other than greyjoy.

The best thing river plots have going for them at the moment is bran stark, triggering 4 when revealed abilities each round. Roberts event recursion is also good with flood waters.

Still a couple of better river plots, like this one, will be needed to make these competitive.

"the top River plot card in your used pile" - is this the top card in the used pile if it's a River, or the last played River if any (even if it's not on top)?

the last played River if any (even if it's not on top)?

This one.

Plots have 3 states.  Unused, Currently revealed, and Used.  Technically, each of them are their own "piles" though it is typical that the currently revealed plot is simply on top of the "used" plot pile.   While it is in use, it is not in the "used" pile just yet, so Crossing will allow you to trigger the top most River plot from your used plot pile that you played earlier.
