Interesting to see a card with two different ways of using it.
Stealing Vigiliant, Intimidate or Renown (for example) could lead to some very interesting, and unexpected results.
Being able to stand an attacker after losing the attack could trick the opponent into over-extending their defence, however I'm not sure how useful it will be.
The problem with making events for Martell is that they have too many they want to use already! Is this good enough to displace something else?

Given that we now have 'Little and Less' now this may have more value as the Challenges effect is effectively the Martell answer to I'm You Writ Small (Core) and without responses I'm not sure how else you can deal with something like that. Though you are right in that making room for this card is going to be hard.
is this the first small council card for martell?

i think the point is dilute all the other auto-include events in a martell deck and encourage more event variety.

2 questions. Is "House X only." a keyword? If yes, what happens to a character, who gains "House X only." and is controlled by a player with a different house affiliation?

'House X Only' is a deck building restriction, not a keyword. It only applies when building your deck and has no effect on the game at all.
