This card is just nuts - not only does it give you the option to have a surprise presence and unexpected attack, but when combined with the Zarathur's Flamers and the Shrine of Warpflame it makes for a potent chain of actions. Sacrifice Zarathur's Flamers to destroy an enemy unit, react to that with the Shrine of Warpflame and put the Flamers back in your hand. Your opponent gets to take a combat action and hopefully passes. Next play Infernal Gateway to put that flamer back into play. Once again, opponent hopefully passes. Sacrifice that flamer to kill another enemy unit. You can do all of this before your opponent even gets a chance to take a proper combat turn and therefore before they get to attack. Just make sure you have another unit around to actually win the planet, LOL!
you can also sneak out an umbral preacher to prevent the enemy from retreating
Great potential, though there is currently a giant lack of good 1,2,3 drops for the Chaos faction.
Still 4/5 because it can be great allready even with the lack of cards.
The potential of this card is proportional to the unit deployed: preacher, flamers, Xavaes (followed by a surprise Warpstorm), this card has a lot of us, hence a great flexibility. Except for shielding.
4/5
You are down two cards after the combat, but this is a unique effects in chaos, so it's still good.
3/5 (I'm reviewing signature cards comparing to other signature cards)
