If I Tzeentch’s Firestorm to kill a unit, can I use this card to get Tzeentch’s Firestorm that i just used back to my hand?
Since Firestorm is a Tzeentch card, why wouldn't you be able to?
So basically I can have a free Firestorm every turn?
I flame something to death and use altar to get it back to the hand immediately.
Exactly. But it's not really "free", you #1 have to pay resources and #2 don't get your Flamers back, which have a potentially better Resource/Damage ratio...
You can also time Tzeentch's Firestorm to use it as shields, then kill an enemy unit and get it back and use it for shields again. One of the strongest uses is literally just having 2 free shields every turn from this card.
I don't believe you can do that:
RRG p.7: «When a player plays an event card, its cost is paid, its ability is resolved, and the card is then placed in that player's discard pile.»
So th ennemy unit is destroyed before Tzeentch's Firestorm is put into the discard pile.
Yes, you can, per rules thread:

Fantastic signature Support card. 5/5 because of how many cards it can interact with within the Core Set.
Cards like this are why I don't think we'll ever see a "tutor" effect for Support cards, LOL!
Probably a similar answer, but if I use Warpstorm and shield my own unit with a Tzeentch's Firestorm but it kills one of my opponent's units, can I get TF back? I assume since this is a Reaction, it happens after the entire Warpstorm effect occurs.
Yes, same reason. Shielding happens during Warpstorm's resolution. This reaction happens after Warpstorm's resolution.
Placing the event on the discard pile marks the completion of the event’s resolution. This should happen before any Reactions to that resolution can occur. - Nate French
Recurring SPA for easy daemon summoning money is nice too. And of course using Flamestorm as a shield then getting it back later in combat can be a lifesaver for squishy Zara.
